Meet Uri Scheft, a uniquely talented baker. His craft is influenced by Northern Europe specifically Denmark and France along with Israel. This mix of various cooking techniques provides for a mouth watering array of treats such as babka, rugelach, and an assortment of artisan bread sandwiches.
After a decade of running a successful “bread” empire in Tel Aviv where he had 3 different bread bakeries named Lehamin (Bread in Hebrew), he brought his signature style to NYC via a businessman named Gadi Peleg, who now co-owns Breads with Uri. Gadi was Uri's biggest fan and now they are business partners.
